Today is the launch of the ETFMinigames site : This site is dedicated to the latest information and progress about the ETFMinigames : A minigames mappack to be used in conjunction with the Enemy Territory modification : ETF.
This mappack will be optimized to be played with lower playerloads than the maps that come with ETF . Also different from ETF, are the gametypes :
ETFMinigames will feature gametypes such as racing on tracks, dueling with obstacles, freestyle 'skating', obstacle courses, and many more which are too hard to label under -any- gametype with our current vocabulary ;)
At the moment I'm still busy converting most of the maps from Q3F to ETF, and this has taken more time than I initially planned ; Changing/finding new textures turns out to be a real annoyance : Not one that can't be overcome though.
I'm also waiting for ETF 1.1 to be released, as some of the bugfixes/changes might affect maps in the current batch.
Until then I am refining the current maps, and one of these weeks I'll be reviewing what maps I'll be sending out for the first big test. Until then I won't be publishing any definite list of maps that will make it in the final mappack.
